Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Jordan
Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) has emerged in the past six years as a centre of excellence in ICT education, research and innovation and a model of the future university in Jordan. It was established in 1991 as a non-for profit academic arm of the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), which is considered as the only comprehensive applied research centre in Jordan. PSUT has a long track record in scientific cooperation with Europe in a number of FP7, Tempus and Erasmus Mundus projects and with close links with many European universities. PSUT strives to become a nucleus for a modern Jordanian knowledge industry, which actively animates the process of socio-economic and cultural development locally, regionally and globally. PSUT aims at supplying Jordanian, regional and global societies with technically and scientifically qualified ICT graduates and with solid applied research work. PSUT has been actively involved in the eLearning domain where it has led an initiative to promote online engineering in Jordan.

Abdallah Al-Zoubi
Dr. Al-Zoubi received his BSc and PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 1983 and 1987 respectively. He is a member of IEEE, Vice President of the International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE), Vice President and co-founder of the International eLearning Association (IELA), member of the International Mobile Learning Association and Co-Editor of the International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Learning (iJET). He is actively involved in research in the field of virtual engineering and remote labs and has vast experience in EU projects.
Wejdan Abu Elhaija
Dr. Wejdan Abu-Elhaija received her B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan and PhD degree in electrical machines from Queen University of Belfast, UK. In 2000, she joined the Department of Electronics Engineering, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, as an Assistant Professor. She has been promoted to Associate Professor in 2006. She held the position of President’s Assistant for quality Assurance during 2007-2010. In September 2009, she was appointed Head of the Electronics Engineering Department and became Dean of Electrical Engineering School in September 2011.  Her research interests are primarily in the field of electrical machines and drives.
​Omar Hasan
Dr Omar Hasan received his PhD, MSc and BSc degrees in Communication Engineering from New Mexico State University, USA, in 1996, 1990 and 1987 respectively. He joined Princess Sumaya University for Technology in 1997 where he served as chairman for the communications engineering department in the period 2005-2009 and dean of student affairs.  Dr Hasan has worked in the area of turbo coding and optical wireless channels as a consultant for Global Cardiac Monitors, Texas in the period 2000-2002, and in different projects at physical science laboratory, Las Cruces, USA, in the period 1991-1992. He is an expert in quality assurance regularly working with HEAC as a consultant. He has been active in international relations and student’ exchange.
