AQU Catalunya  is the main instrument for the promotion and assurance of quality in the Catalan higher education system. The purpose of AQU Catalunya is the assessment, accreditation and certification of quality in the sphere of the universities and higher education centres of Catalunya. AQU Catalunya is full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), and has been one of the first three agencies to be included in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). AQU is also member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), the Spanish Network of Spanish Quality Assurance Agencies (REACU) and the European Consortium for Accreditation (ECA). AQU Catalunya was the first European quality agency to be ISO certified.

Nuria Comet
​Nuria Comet has a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and Bachelor Degree in Documentation. Currently, he is responsible for Internal Quality and Project Coordinator for the Agency for Quality Assurance University of Catalonia (AQU). Experience in quality evaluation and quality management: acting as secretary of the assessment committees of institutions and courses, responsible and auditor's internal quality assurance system since 1997 and EFQM accredited. Experience in Projects Management: Training in Project Management and European projects.  Experience as a Project Coordinator in AQU and in the automotive sector, where I worked previously. He has the ability to work in group and to organize, plan and check activities, and has good knowledge of English and French.
Josep Grifoll
​Since 1997, Josep Grifoll has been working in AQU developing QA processes for programmes and institutions. Since 2008 he is elected member of the Board of ENQA and he has been member of the steering committee of the European Quality Assurance Forum in 2010 and 2011. He has experience in international QA projects and processes within Europe, Latin America and South East Asia; in particular he was member of the coordinating team of TEEP I and TEEP II (transnational evaluation projects for Bachelors and Joint Masters in Europe). Recently, he has been coordinating the third edition of the European Survey of Quality Assurance Processes.
