Tallinn University, Estonia
The Tallinn University was established on 18 March 2005 as the result of a merger of several universities and research institutes in Tallinn as well as the Estonian Academic Library. Having merged with such well-established institutes as the International Institute of Social Sciences and the Estonian Institute of Humanities, its main strengths lie in the fields of humanities and social sciences, but it also has a strong and constantly growing component of natural and exact sciences, as well as a long tradition of teacher training and educational research. The University consists of 19 academic institutes and 5 colleges. At present, it has around 10 000 students as well as close to 500 faculty members and research fellows, on the whole being the fastest growing university in the country.

Tiia Tammaru
​Tiia Tammaru is a Research Scientist (Department of Mechatronics). Her research area is related to the development, adaptation and implementation of quality management and excellence models in different sectors, including education. Tiia Tammaru has acted as expert as well as trainer and consultant in various national and EU supported projects related to the development of quality assurance and assessment criteria and models in Education. Tiia Tammaru has wide international experience, acting as Chairman of the Board of Estonian Association for Quality, representing Estonia in international organizations, such as European Organization for Quality (EOQ), EFQM, World Alliance for Quality. She has been member of EOQ Working Group on Excellence in Education.
Reijo Karu
​Reijo Karu  is the director of International Projects. Today Reijo Karu holds position of director of international projects in Tallinn University of Technology. Previously Reijo worked as expert and consultant of Enterprise Estonia being responsible for developing different enterprise funding programmes to local enterpreneurs. Main focus areas in Enterprise Estonia were developing an external expert evaluation system for evaluation process; developing an expert network according to specific field of expertise; evaluating projects targeted to supporting enterprises. Key expertise areas: networking, public administration, strategic portfolio management, evaluating methodologies.
