Yarmouk University, Jordan
Yarmouk University (YU) which was established in 1976, now contains 12 faculties, and these faculties hold 55 majors in Bachelor programs, 63 in Master programs and 18 in PhD programs with 33000 students.  YU has joint postgraduate programs with some European Universities including an MSc in Health Services Management in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, an MSc in Information Technology Management, UK, and an ICT Diploma with collaboration with the University of Inholland. YU has also a rich experience in conducting research with cooperation with many European institutions including eight TEMPUS projects.

Hanan Malkawi
​​Professor Hanan Malkawi had her bachelor degree in Biological Sciences at Yarmouk University, Jordan, MSc and PhD degrees in Bacteriology and Public Health from Washington State University, USA. She was appointed as professor at Yarmouk University where she has been involved in research lines in biotechnology and its applications in environment, health, agriculture, microbiology, food and cosmetic industry, and recently in nanotechnology and its applications in biological systems and environment, where she registered several patents. She has several funded grants from national and international agencies, and has good and practical experience with EU funded projects. Hanan Malkawi has over 50 published papers in peer reviewed scientific journals.
Khaled Gharaibeh
​Dr. Khaled Gharaibeh received PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2004 from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC.  Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering since 2009, assistant Dean 2008-2009, head of the Telecommunications Engineering Department since 2009, served as a member of various councils and committees including university council, faculty council, Accreditation committee, graduate studies committee and scientific research committee. He is the coordinator of Tempus project 511074-1-TEMPUS-2010-1-JO-JPCR. He has published more than 30 scientific research papers in international journals and conferences and the author of one book: Nonlinear Distortion in Wireless Systems, Wiley.
